I am feeling happy, relieved, and amazed that we already went over most of the textbook!
ReplyDeleteI would tell the upcoming 7th graders to memorize the different equations and learn how to graph properly. I think these were the hardest concepts for me to learn in this class so I would warn them about this as well.
I think that i could have worked harder in the middle of the year because I have been falling behind due to the upcoming tests and projects. However, I will work hard until the end from now on. I will finish my homework without any missing work and try to write my equations more neatly.
If I were to give some advice to upcoming 7th grader, I will tell them to prepare for 8th grade math in vacation. As, curriculum moves very fast, they might not understand everything they go over.
ReplyDeleteYes, I will work hard. I will review what I did and solve every questions in depth.
I think the three words I would use to describe the moment are: monotonous, astonishing, intense.
ReplyDeleteI would give advices to the upcoming 7th graders about how hard the chapter 9 test is. (just kidding) But I would surely tell them why the subject, "algebra" is a very challenging subject. I think they would have a very good time just doing the right methods to solve each equation, than I think they will be able to enjoy their subject, and have a good education process.
I think I will definitely try my best until the moment of Finals, after that, I will plan a very evil plan to make the biggest prank ever to Mr. Jobe (Joking ^^). But still, until the moment of Finals, I will do my best, and not let go of myself.
I am feeling nervous, happy, and sad, because of the final, the 8th grade is over, and I am going to high school next year.
ReplyDeleteFor the upcoming 7th graders, go over 8th grade math during the vacation.
I will work hard, and 2 things that I will do differently are solve lots of problems, and jot down all the notes that Mr. Jobe has said.

If you were to give some advice (or a warning) to the upcoming 7th graders, what would it be?
Truthfully, I would not give them any advice so that they might suffer as i did. muahahahaha...
but if i did give them an advice, i would tell them it might help to study Algebra a bit beforehand since it might help to survive through 8th grade math....
Will you work hard until the end, or give up because you're tired? Name two things you will do DIFFERENTLY from what you've done all year?
I would work differently from here on and that would be to try harder to raise my grades.
(I am not in a good position (ㅠㅡㅠ)). So i will try harder with the finals as my last chance to raise it to an A.
1. Three adjectives to describe my feelings are
ReplyDeleteastonishing, delighted, and witty. It's astonishing to me that the year is nearly over, but delighted that 8th grade is over, and funny since if you add those two feelings its funny.
2. Don't only rely on the homework that you wrote. You should check the wiki often, for blog homework. I missed like two and my grade dropped. Also, bring erasers and pencils to class. I once didn't bring an eraser for a test so I asked someone during the test and got five points off. My score on that test was GOING to be 99 but I got 94. Trust me, bring your stuff. Don't ask others.
Of course I still have to continue working hard since if I just give up everything I've working for this year turns out as a waste! One of the two things that I will do is definitely check the wiki for homework. The other thing is to bring my stuff so I wouldn't get 5 points off again.

If you were to give some advice (or a warning) to the upcoming 7th graders, what would it be?
Personally, I would not give them any advice so that they will suffer what i have gone though (muahahahahaha)
but if i did leave an advice, that would be to perhaps study beforehand so that you won't feel rushed when you are going through Algebra since 8th grade math is pretty fast paced.
Will you work hard until the end, or give up because you're tired? Name two things you will do DIFFERENTLY from what you've done all year?
One thing that i would to differently would be to solve a whole lot of more problems since the finals are coming up and the finals is my ace in the hole to raise my grade to an A.
The second thing I would do differently would to perhaps start reading the entire textbook again for the finals too.......
so many things to do (ㅠㅡㅠ)).....
I would tell them to study enough to understand all the concepts and rules, because as long as you know the concept, you'll know how to solve the problem. You should also make sure you know this well by doing all HW assignments.
ReplyDeleteThree adjectives to describe how I feel are .... proud, happy but nervous (finals!)
ReplyDeleteIf I were to give some advice to the upcoming 7th graders, I will tell them to review classwork everyday so that you don't forget what you've been doing the previous class and so that you don't have to struggle trying to remember all the things in the chapter before a chapter test. Especially because algebra is a very fast moving course! You should always ask questions to Mr Jobe if you need help on anything.
I will work hard till the end so that I can get a good grade for my finals! I will review all the materials from the previous chapters so that I can prepare for the finals. I will also solve the problems I did wrong in the past so that I don't make mistakes again in the finals.
I feel scared, free, and sad. I feel scared because I know that high school math will be much harder than middle school, but feel free that we are done. Also, feel sad because I feel like I could of done better, but time went by so fast.
ReplyDeleteI would like to tell the upcoming 7th graders that they should review what they have done in 7th grade. I think this is important because Algebra is based on Pre-Algebra. Thus, by reviewing, they will know the basics more sternly and will succeed in Algebra!
I will definitely work harder until the end. The two things that I will do differently are review all the things we learned during this semester for final and high school and not only study hard during the test week but study constantly hard everyday when we learn something.
One chapter left. One quiz left. Then the final. You're almost there! Write three adjectives to describe how you're feeling.
ReplyDelete1. puzzling
2. frustrated
3. exhilarated
If you were to give some advice (or a warning) to the upcoming 7th graders, what would it be?
I would warn upcoming 7th graders that Mr. Jobe teaches so fast and it seems like we take quizzes and tests every class. I would like to tell them to study and review everyday.
Will you work hard until the end, or give up because you're tired? Name two things you will do DIFFERENTLY from what you've done all year?
I will work hard by being thorough in my work process such as not having simple minor mistakes. In addition, I will spend more time studying for tests which will improve my scores even a bit even though it may not be so significant.
I feel anxious, relieved, and worried.
ReplyDeleteI fI was to give advice to the 7th graders, I would advice them to listen to what the teachers say during class so they can review properly and thoroughly at home before a test.
I would work hard until the end, to work on the parts I had difficulty with, and not to have anything I do not understand.
Two things I will do differently is to listen more carefully during class, and ask more questions about things i do not know.
The three adjectives I could use to describe what I am feeling will be relieved, nervous, and excited.
ReplyDeleteOne of the advices I would give to 7th graders will be to never be afraid to ask questions. They should not hesitate or be shy to do that since it is better than not knowing and moving on. They should come at lunch or in the morning to ask questions privately to Mr.Jobe. Also, they should pay attention a lot during the review sessions.
I would work harder on the final and I have started studying earlier than when i have for the other tests. Also, i would pay more attention during the review session

ReplyDeletenervous, happy, worried
If you were to give some advice (or a warning) to the upcoming 7th graders, what would it be?
Ask lots of question to Mr. J to not make him bored in lunch time...hehe..
and study and review by yourself
Will you work hard until the end, or give up because you're tired? Name two things you will do DIFFERENTLY from what you've done all year?
I will work until the end. I will be more responsible, and ask more questions.

Ask the teacher for help if you don't get something.
Will you work hard until the end, or give up because you're tired? Name two things you will do DIFFERENTLY from what you've done all year?
I will work hard until the end. I will do my homework neater and I will get help if I don't think I understand something for the finals.

I am fealing excited, nervous, but proud!
ReplyDeleteI would tell the 7th graders to ask the teacher if they don't understand something.
I will work hard! I would review the tests we took before and study hard!
I feel excited, relieved, and happy!
ReplyDeleteI will encourage the 7th graders to ask the teacher about things that they do not understand.
I will work to the maximum limit.
the effective plan i would follow 1. review all the things i have done before
2. try to master every chapter of the book i have done
