1) Graphing equations let us understand the relationship between ordered pairs. in addition, it gives us an idea how equations can be converted into lines on a plane, giving us diverse ways to acknowledge the equation.
ReplyDelete2) I practically understood all the concepts. One tricky part was to remember the standards and the requirement of a linear equation in standard form and how to distinguish them from non-linear ones. Except for that, everything else was understandable.
3) One way to make my grades even higher is to make less mistakes by going over the questions I have solved. I made frequent mistakes in the former tests and quizzes in the 3rd Quarter. I should improve to make less of them or even do my best to make no errors that I could have changed before I hand in my papers.
1) Graphing the equation allows one to easily understand the equations and find the various answers to certain equation. Furthermore, it allows one to find the equation with same slope or intercept by graphing the equation.
ReplyDelete2) Yes, I understood all concepts. There was no difficult concepts, however I made mistakes drawing equation with negative slope.
3) I need to start making less mistakes which effect the most on my grade.
1) In your opinion, what is the point of graph
ReplyDeleteing equations? What does it help us understand?
I think we graph equation in order to find all the possible outcomes of number when you have two variables usually x and y. since by using the graphs, you can find the all the possible coordinates for the numbers. And it could help you draw things on graph paper but other than that....nothing else. and honestly, i don't think it helps us understand anything in particular. I do it because I have to for a grade.
2) Do you feel like you understood all of the concepts prior to this test? Which was the most difficult concept for you to understand?
I think I understood all the concepts prior to the test. the most difficult concept out of all of it would be to find the x and y intercepts or to write the slope intercept from with many different types of informations and coordinates.
3) Make one goal for the 4th quarter, but do not make it about grades. For example, if you want your grade to be higher, what can you do to make that happen?
My goal for the fourth quarter would be able to concentrate, listen more, solve more, and use my time more wisely to increase my grade and to increase the time I play. Two birds with one stone.
1. I think graphing is required for many architects, for a normal student I think it would build up concentration skills and finding ordered pair skills. These graphing would really help a person out when they are making the most basic model of a architect, which would make it have a very basic, simple, and organized structure.
ReplyDelete2. I think I understood pretty well in this chapter because throughout the whole chapter, I didn't find any major problems, but if I choose one as the hardest, I think it would be finding the standard equation by only telling the slope and one ordered pair, those problems were a big problem to me.
3. I think I would want to talk less in class, concentrate more, and always keep my mouth shut. But to be honest, I really don't have any other goals to make my math grade a 100, A+!

1. I think the point of graphing equations is to show all possible answers for a certain equation. I think it helps us understand there are infinite possible solutions to some equations.
ReplyDelete2. I am not confident that I understand all the concepts in this chapter, maybe due to the loss of my note book. The most difficult concept for me was finding line equations that goes through a point and has the same y intercept as another line. I was not completely sure about this.
3. My goal would be to keep all my work together so I can be more organized and have something to study besides the text book.
1) Graphing allows us to understand and see how our linear equations apply on the graph, what it looks like, and how it differs to other graphs originating from a different linear equation. Also, graphs make it easier for us to find the slopes of the lines.
ReplyDelete2) I think I understood all concepts prior to this test. But I was kind of reluctant with my answers on the part where we had to write two different kinds of equations (slope-intercept form, standard form).
3) For this 4th quarter, I think I should concentrate a bit more in class when the teacher mentions things that may be helpful for future references. Also, it would be helpful if I asked questions and problems I had on homework etc.
1)Graphing equations show us all the possible answers we can get from a certain equation. It helps us to understand that there can be countless solutions for a particular equation which I think is a very interesting thing to learn about.
ReplyDelete2) I think I understood all of the concepts in this chapter. Finding the slope with just the x- and y-intercept was the hardest concept I learned in this chapter.
3) My goal for the 4th quarter is to concentrate more in class and not make silly mistakes. Also, to raise my grade, I want to do more bonus questions or worksheets. :)
1) I think the point of graphing equations is to show and describe equations visually by graph. We can see the increase and decrease much more easily with graphs, rather than just looking at a myriad of equations. Someone who doesn’t know how to draw graphs can still understand if they look at a graph, which means it is very easy but yet beneficial.
ReplyDelete2) I think I did understand all the concepts prior to this test. The most difficult concept for me was the equation to get slopes, because I did not know about this equation therefore was a little confusing at first. In spite of that, now I surely do understand.
3) The main primary goal for me is to finish homework. I haven’t been best on homework, and I missed a few, a little due to some tutors. However, I recently quit major 2 that gave me a lot of homework, so I hope I improve on finishing homework and tasks.
1) I think the point of graphing equations is to see how two or more solutions interact with each other visibly on a graph. So, it helps us understand how solutions make a line.
ReplyDelete2) I think determining y-intercepts and x-intercepts when it in a slop-intercept form and distinguishing between linear equation not in standard form or in standard form was difficult to understand.
3) Starting from 4th quarter, I will ask more questions and concentrate more in class. Also, I will ask questions right away if I have one.
1. Graph equation is it can allow us to find the slope, y-intercept, and the x-intercept. Also you can find the different coordinates that fit the graph equation. Also we can create a graph by using the graph equation.
ReplyDelete2. Do you feel like you understood all of the concepts prior to this test? Which was the most difficult concept for you to understand?
I feel like that I understood all the concepts prior to the test. When the question gave several coordinates and gave an incomplete graph equation, it was hard to figure out the x and y intercepts.
3. Make one goal for the 4th quarter, but do not make it about grades. For example, if you want your grade to be higher, what can you do to make that happen?
I want to learn more about shapes and figures in the 4th quarter. Also I can finish all my hw and study for my tests to get a good grade.
1) In your opinion, what is the point of graphing equations? What does it help us understand? Graphing is used to make us better understand the equations we are learning by an actual visual example. Also, it helps us learn the concepts and solve equations faster.
ReplyDelete2) Do you feel like you understood all of the concepts prior to this test? Which was the most difficult concept for you to understand? I feel that I need to learn more about slope equations and standard equations. The graphing was simple and easy but I had trouble converting slope Int. forms into standard forms. All these equations are a little complicated
3) Make one goal for the 4th quarter, but do not make it about grades. For example, if you want your grade to be higher, what can you do to make that happen? My goal is to keep track and finish all the HW assignments. Also, if I understand i will visit Mr. Jobe for help more often at lunch or in the morning.
1) In your opinion, what is the point of graphing equations? What does it help us understand?
ReplyDeleteGraphing equation make better understanding because they are picture of the equation that when you look at it you know it is positive or negative slope
2) Do you feel like you understood all of the concepts prior to this test? Which was the most difficult concept for you to understand?
I think i understood lots of thing because i always go over thing in my home that i didn't know in class time. The difficult thing was getting slop
3) Make one goal for the 4th quarter, but do not make it about grades. For example, if you want your grade to be higher, what can you do to make that happen?
My goal is that keep on doing the bonus question and solving extra problem and ask MR.J for help in lunch time.
1. I think the point of graphing is see where the line on a graph and not just in an equation. Also, it is important to know how to graph.
ReplyDelete2. I think I know all of the concepts. One hard thing to learn was the word problems because I didn't know what to do for some of the problems.
3. I think I should go to Mr. Jobe more often to get help instead of just guessing on the answer
1) In your opinion, what is the point of graphing equations? What does it help us understand?
ReplyDeleteI think the point of graphing equations show the visual of what we are really trying to find in the problem. When I use the graphing method, I am more aware that I am trying to find the crossing point of two line.
2) Do you feel like you understood all of the concepts prior to this test? Which was the most difficult concept for you to understand?
The most difficult concept in this chapter was the ones with the interesting and stocks. I don't understand bank like problems that much, but everything else was fine for me.
3) Make one goal for the 4th quarter, but do not make it about grades. For example, if you want your grade to be higher, what can you do to make that happen?
My goal is to finish homework without being rushed so I can think about the questions more thoroughly.
